CCFD Carnival starts tonight

The Columbia Consolidated Fire Department, 265 S. 10th St., will host its annual carnival and fireworks from Wednesday, July 6, through Saturday, July 9. Wednesday and Thursday times will be 6 to 10 p.m., with Friday and Saturday times being 4 to 10:30 p.m.

There will be live music, games, rides, food and fun for everyone. The live music on Saturday evening will feature Black Jack. The fireworks display will be on July 9 at 10:15 p.m.

Vandalism to the Columbia Town Square was discovered this morning. Vandals pushed a huge flower pot off a wall, damaging it and a bed of flowers.
