More charges against Columbia residents

Meetings of note
Don't the Columbia Zoning Hearing Board will hold a meeting next Wednesday at 7 p.m. to discuss a request from David Doolittle to construct a hotel and restaurant at 400 Locust Street.
Also included on the request is to add 404 Locust Street to the restaurant and hotel.
July 21, 6:30 p,m., borough council will hold a special meeting to discuss its Act 537, whichif approved will increase sewer rates up to 70 percent.
And unlike what was reported in this morning's newspaper, there is no borough council meeting on July 6 at 7 p.m.

Roll Tide
Pictured at the Nittany Lion statue at Penn State are members of the 2010 Columbia High School football team, who recently attended a two-day 7 on 7 camp at Penn State. Coach Mike Burke said the team "competed well" against some of the top Class AA and AAA teams in the state as well as teams from New Jersey and Maryland.
