Car should be towed

This car is parked in an alley between Second and Third streets. The sign says no parking or car will be towed. Nothing was said about the car, which has been parked there for a long time, doesn't have a license plate, but does have a few flat tires.

Tide drops volleyball opener

Columbia opened its girls' volleyball season last night, losing in three sets at Elco, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-16.
Katie Will had two aces and blocks for the Tide, along with three kills.
