Another new business has surfaced

It was the former Keystone Fire Company and in the last month or so made news under the name of the Mighty Dog Fun Center in the first block of North Fourth Street when a young Lancaster man was gunned down and killed during a weekend shooting.
Because of the incident, the center was closed by law enforcement, but today, it appears to have re-opened under another name. Its still being rented by the same individuals that had the building when the shooting happened and during the car show, one of the individuals, Carter Shultz was seen sitting out in front of the building. A dance might be one of the future events planned for the facility.

What a joke

How can Columbia's elected officials AND code enforcement continue to let this happen? Isn't this building condemned? IF not, it should be!

This property is licenced for one apartment but it is listed for sale as two apartments plus commercial space. I smell a lie....

What a shame. As with a lot of the buildings in town, they are so unique and interesting achitecturally. Wouldn't it be great if they were better cared for/maintained and put to good use?

it sure would - people like you that care so much should get together and buy these buildings along with some of the old houses.

Carter looks pretty fit though.

I personally like old churches, fire stations and schools to renovate into homes or a place to dine....do we really know what will come of this building? Is it/not for sale?
