As of 2 p.m. this afternoon, Rap's World rang the bell for the last time at the Columbia Market House. One of the original stand holders from when the market first reopened five years ago, Tim Btown and his family are leaving the market because of the politics. Apparently since January, six stands have left the market.

YOU KNOW THAT THE NITWITS THAT ARE RUNNING THE BOROUGH WILL RUN EVERYTHING GOOD IN TO THE GROUND. THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST STANDS ON MARKET TO GET SOMETHING TO EAT. LET'S MAKE THE MARKET IN TO A CRAFT SHOW AGAIN. WHAT THEY SHOULD DO WITH THAT BUILDING IS TAKE ALL THE STANDS OUT AND PUT GARAGE DOORS ON IT TO PARK THE POLICE VEHICLES AND THE OFFICERS VEHICLES INSIDE SO THE CAN'T BE DAMAGED. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE YEARS AGO. THAT MARKET IS A WHITE ELEPHANT FOR THE BOROUGH.
Suspenders....., that has to be Frank Doutrich! What a shame, that was the best stand in the Market House. It has really gone down hill and I've been hearing alot of negative talk about the Borough Manager. When the negative outweighs the positive, it is time for him to go. I think we are there people, wake up and send him packing. Along with half of Hellam that he brought with him to add to our payroll.
I suppose you might think the "new family market house" on third will be better?
What's "the new family market house" on third?
