These are two properties in the first block of South Fourth Streeet, which are vacant and nothing being done with then. One was Columbia's only vaccum cleaner repair store and the other was a law office.
The apartment upstairs is rented out. The owner Ted Eastridge passed away years ago and his son took over. The man is a lawyer and a few other choice words. He won't fix anything he doesn't have to. He was notified of a small leak and did nothing. When the water started to run heavily from the side of his building he did nothing. I threatened to have him charged with property damage because the water was lifting up my brick patio, he finally got the problem fixed. Yeah he is a piece of work.
