If this is suppose to be a parking lot for those visiting downtown Columbia, how come the lot is mostly filled with those who work at 308 Locust St., who don't have to pay to park.

This is a quesiton I have asked for a long time. And while we are on the subject of parking, back in August, I took my kids down to the riverpark on a late Saturday afternoon. When we got there we found not one parking space open yet there was hardly anyone in the park. I ran into a friend of mine who was loading his boat and he told me the cars parked in the lot were from people who were attending a party on a river island. I would think the parking would be for visitors of the park. I guess the next time my company takes a bus trip to a ball game, we can all meet at the river and leave from there since it seems the parking is not just for the river park.

good idea, since others are abusing the situation, go ahead and abuse it yourself - that will really help things
The comment was meant to be sarcastic, in a effort to shame those who are abusing the parking lot, it was not meant to be taken literally.
Does your train of thought have a caboose?
