this is a great event, well worth the time and money to drive thru and enjoy the holiday lights. We need to support and promote this worthwhile project .
Well I don't remember that Long's Park ever charged anything for their display. This is ludicrous and I would never support paying for this, especially $7 per car?????
I am supportive of fundraisers but this gives me a bad perception of the CBAA.
No, this is not ludicrous and in fact, Long's Park did charge per car as well. The man putting on this light show is the same one who did it at Long's Park. So, please do not think badly of the CBAA. This is a fundraiser to help the young athletes of Columbia and to support their participation in sports. Isn't the goal of any youth sports program to be able to provide quality equipment and opportunities at a reasonable price? This can not be done without fundraising. I think it is an excellent idea and great job CBAA!!! :o)
To the individual who thinks it is ludicrous to support and enjoy the Holiday Event that is coming to Columbia..... get real. Would you rather spend a few dollars for a chicken barbecue and a baked potato (another fundraiser idea) or spend some good quality time with your family enjoying the wonderful Christmas lights? This is an excellent idea and I hope it repeats itself every year. Happy Holidays!
The CBAA is looking for help. If you would like to help in the concession stand or take tickets you can e-mail to aredding20@comcast.net. any help would be greatly appreciated.

This needs to get attention "outside" of Columbia as well, since nobody does this sort of thing anymore.
