I've passed this house a number of times and it always bothers me. Its a condemned house the 900 bloxk of Barber Street, badly in need of repair with a piece of spouting hanging down and the porch onits way to the ground. What struck me today, after speaking at Monday's council meeting about weed problems in the borough, was the condition of thr backyard. Kind of surprised some of the neighbors haven't called the borough to complain.

barry- this is jude at 903- are u kidding? we have called for over a year now- tenant gone for 2 years. all they do is post condemmed and tax sale info on the door. there is no sewer bill going here either and so no notice is received about high weeds. there are snakes and skunks etc in that yard and it is a disgrace.i don't know what more can be done. at least 3 of us have called about this . what to do??
The only suggestion could be daily calls to the Code Enforcement Office. The property needs to be cleaned up, or at least the weeds cut and siding taken down. Since this could be a kegak issue, i.e. tax sale., etc., this might be a touchy issue. But at least, the property could be cleaned up.
