Week Two Predictions

Here are some week two predictions for Columbia and its remaining opponents:
Susquehannock at Daniel Boone. The Blazers, who return to Columbia next week improve to 2-0 with a 42-0 win over Susquehannock.
Boiling Springs at Palmyra: The Bub, Bub, Bubblers were drilled in their opener by Littlestown. A trip down to Lebanon County for a game with 1-0 Palmyra is no walk in the park, but take the Bubblers, 14-12.
Pine Grove at Elco: The Raiders, who many expected to challenge Lancaster Catholic in Section 3, have some injury problems and fall to 0-2 with an 18-12 loss to Pine Grove.
Lebanon at Northern Lebanon: The Ray Wall era at NL didn't get off to a great start with a loss to Pine Grove and it  won't get any better this week, Lebanon wins big, 36-14.
Annville-Cleona at Hamburg: The Little Dutchmen might be the most over rated team in Section 3. Big things were expected in A-C this year. They laid an egg in week one vs. Palmyra. Add cheese to that Hamburg, loss number two for the Dutchmen, 14-6.
Kutzown at Pequea Valley. We know the Braves can put the points on the scoreboard. But when you score 46, you should win. Yet, they lost to York Tech 48-46. This week, the scoreboard gets another workout, take PV 47-34.
Hempfield vs. Lancaster Catholic: On paper, this looks like a marque game. The biggest school in the L-L League against the defending Class AA state champs. Hempfield has a lot of problems and this game has no luster and won't even be a contest. Take the state champs big, 43-7.

Columbia at Northeastern:  Columbia broke an 11-game losing streak Friday night and has been playing football for well over 100 years. Northeastern's program is only three years old. Take Columbia and its high powered offense, 35-12.

Donegal at Fleetwood: Donegal had no chance in week one against Daniel Boone, but rebound this week with an 18-14 win.
