This may have already been answered,I don't know. Where are all these people going to park? Is it going to be metered parking? Are they going to charge for parking ? Is this like a ride like chocolate world ? Is there going to be free samples? Are the houses around the area going to be cleaned up ? Ok thats enough questions. J~
Okay, let me see if I can answer some of them. One, there is going to be parking on site. This is a private attraction, so its doubtful there will be metered parking. This will be an interactive museum, something like Chocolate World, but I have not heard about any ride. Not sure about free samples either and as for the houses across the street, that hasn't been discussed as far as I know. But they are good questions.
NOTE TO ALL 4 CODE OFFICERS - THIS AREA IS ANOTHER PLACE TO CRACK DOWN ON - THERE'S QUITE A BIT OF LACK OF PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND JUST SOME GOOD OLD FASHIONED TRASH AND RUBBISH !!!!
Sorry jn. I spoke to both partys and both are unavailable to attend, They have work related obligations.Thou it will be a awesome event, the substitutes for icecream servers are ZIPPY the CHIMP and BOZO the CLOWN aka mary and leo.
Jn.... I'm only responding to this because you must be a moron (Anonymous one). I certainly don't need any attention whether its at Council meetings or the groundbreaking ceremony. I'm not sure who you are because you apparently have no backbone to sign your name. My thinking is you are either a couch potato with very limited resources in the real world or you have some close ties to these individuals who are trying to run this town in the ground. I certainly have achieved a lot in my profressional career and I really don't need Columbia to garner me any additional public attention. I have been trying for years to bring attention to the massive debt this Borough retains not including the additional borrowing ahead. You probably don't pay taxes so you would not have felt the impact of the tax increases for the last ten years. Or once again you maybe associated with these individuals who think they know what's best for this town. I would hope you will respond back using your real name and loosen your panties a little. I am signing my name and email address so you can contact me if you would like to be educated on the real issues. I always was in favor of the Turkey Hill Experience but cannot understand why you chose this fine dedication to bash Mr. Detz and myself. So, get your facts straight. Either find a new hobby instead of hiding behind a blog because your to much of a wimp to face me one on one. Those who know me well will tell you I don't back down from anybody when I'm right. If I'm wrong I apologize. What's really interesting is all these citzens who have started to attend Council meetings recently figured out what I have been touting for the last ten years after only attending a few meetings. The pressure is on and you and others are feeling the heat. The next time you need a verbal public a-s wiping meet me one on one.
This is what people like JN do. When the heat is on they bash other people trying to enlighten citizens of the Borough on what's going on. It sounds like he has an issue with certain people and the only way he can describe his emotions is behind an anonymous signed blog. Real tough guy. At least there are a few who will indentify themselves as to the author of their comments. I just hope you can sleep at night with your tough verbal darts you throw at people.
Oh yea, they can't attend because they have work related duties, more likely because something positive, that they were not in favor of, is going to happen. I heard they don't like the taste of crow.
Very well said, Tim. And I fully agree that everyone who posts comments here should have the testicles to sign their full names - including the one two weeks ago who bashed my daughter on here.

Wow, Must have gotten another Grant. I wonder if Frank and Vern are invited?
At the ground breaking on Wednesday, T. Swartz and V. Detz will be handing out free ice cream in an attempt to get some public attention.

If we had more poeple like Vern, Tim, and Frank Columbia might have a chance. KGW
I agree those 3 don't seem to have a agenda that the other ones do.
