Borough highway department workers were busy today making repairs and paving an area in the 500 block of Poplar Street.

Sad that it is almost the end of July and this is the first full block paving job the Highway department has done that I know of this year. Someone please help me out here if I am wrong! We are spending ALOT of money on paving equipment and where is the final product? We should have blocks and blocks and blocks of streets paved by now!
I think that if your property looks like crap you should 1st, get a warning to clean it up. 2nd get a 10 dollar fine, and if you don't comply 100 dollar fine. Where is the pride in taking care of the things you own ? j

maybe if the boro-norm,leo and mary would stop trying to buy real estate- maybe then we could afford to use the equipment we have !
