Covereage of tonight's Columbia Borough Council meeting.

Nothing really changes in this Borough. The Mayor in his usual fashion did an about face and grandstanded on the Cottage issue. He put this Council in position as though their the bad ones. He spoke about the need to finish all those projects 30 or so. He is the one who boosted avbout getting all these grants and now he turns it against Council as though they took to many projects on. So he uses this as a way to make himself look good by saying Council should sell to the Cottage owners. They should. The problem I have is he was one of a few who were pushing to get this for the Borough.
Finally we found someone to properly conduct and professionally run a Council meeting. Very little if any tension in the room tonight. Council really needs to consider reorganizing.

i agree 1,000 %. it was an awesome mtg. Mary is very professional, yet very fair. Thank you Mary, I truly enjoyed tonights mtg.

Yes maybe Mary Wickenheiser can learn something from Mary Barninger and also prove the statement wrong of "You can't teach an old dog new tricks"!
