Bridge burning slowed Confederate advance: Stone piers in the Susquehanna River are all that's left of the old Wrightsville bridge, but back in 1863 it was pretty grand; the world's largest covered bridge, and the only bridge between Harrisburg and Maryland.

FOR SIMPLE ASSAULT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, M-2, AND FOR
RESISTING ARREST OR OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT, M-2, 12 JUNE
2013, IN THE FIRST BLOCK OF SOUTH 4TH.
ADVISED BY A PASSERBY THAT MEISINGER WAS BEATING UP ON A
FEMALE IN THAT AREA.  WHEN THE OFFICER ARRIVED, HE HAD TO
WRESTLE WITH MEISINGER.  HE WAS RELEASED AFTER
ARRAINGED, ON $8,000.00 UNSECURED BAIL.

THERE HAS BEEN A RASH OF TIRE SLASHINGS IN THE BORO.,
WITHIN THE LAST TWO WEEKS.  MOST WERE IN THE AREA OF
UNION STREET, NORTH 3RD
VEHICLE WINDOWS BEING BROKEN IN THE SAME AREAS.  ANYONE
