The meeting is scheduled for June 30th @ 7pm at the municipal building. He should not be authorized to do ANYTHING but clean up his existing properties.

So essentially there is going to be another "collapse" of a building. Doolitte sure lives up to his name !

No. There's already a spot there. He tore the building down a few years back. It's the parking lot at Fouth and Locust streets

A hotel in a parking lot space? Where will the parking be for this? Give me a break. How convenient to propose this when there is something going on across the street from that at the old Community Bank. Good luck sir, obviously you are in no way able to compete with what will be there. I've heard, 12+ suites, bistro, art gallery etc. Let the folks that have the experience, passion, credit, cash flow, and true vision for a better Columbia take over. Clean up the messes in town that make Columbia look so pathetic and move on already!!! Thanks Barry.

How will a hotel fit there? Where's the parking going to be? Perhaps at the new Timeless in across the street that starts remodeling this fall? How convenient and how so lame compared to that. Heard the building that still stands next to that lot is infested with black mold in the basement. Will this crap ever end?

why would the old CAP building building have new signs just put up advertising apartments for rent when they are getting ready to build a hotel?
