Lights and trash

All but a handful of the lights have been installed at River Park. Get a close look at the lights because they are the ones to be installed downtown. And the second picture might look the same as the other day, but it is not. It is down at the River Park.

I like the polls and lites but i understand they are not the same that was orderd. Not all the parts are there, the wrong Lights and maybe the polls and lights have to go back.Doesn't anyone check the materials when they are delivered? My problem is then why did install these lights and polls? Was this a hurry up statis symbol to get done for the 4th? What a way to waste money?

I agree but I do like the lights. IF they are wrong then they should be corrected and we shouldn't have wasted time having them installed if they need to be uninstalled. If they are keeping them, I would like to see more of these around town, on dark streets, so as a taxpayer I can feel safe walking at night. Or at least see the dog sh*t so I don't step in it.

Dogs are the best protection. The borough needs to do more to make the town dog friendly. All landlords should allow at least one dog in every building to offer more protection.

sorry, i don't agree with that. there are way too many dogs in the boro that are not taken care of one way or another-out all day and night-barking, lonely, driving us all crazy-but it's not the dogs fault (there's a few in the neighborhood), plus the piles and piles of dog shit that are NEVER cleaned up and removed-i have to smell that every day too. dogs that never feel the friendly human touch it should-it's a staus quo for some-landlords have MORE THAN ENOUGH to be responsible for THAT a lot of them aren't. sorry-no vote here
