what is the latest regarding Columbia becoming a regionalized school district. With about 600 students grades 6 thru 12 a consolidation is necessary. Vern anything being done in this regard?

Is this suppose to be done by the time school starts? Looks like a lot of work to be done yet!

As a recent borough resident I need to question the expense related to renovation at the high school. I read in the school news there are about 600 students at CHS. Renovations ranging in the $17 millions, doesn't make sense.
Has the Columbia School Board looked into the process of going regional with their educational system, a merger is needed NOW
