Practice delayed because of search

Fall sports get late start tonight at high school. The football team was getting ready to hit the gridiron, while the volleyball team and cheerleaders were practicing as this event unfolded. The teams were locked in the school and field house for about 30 minutes as there were numerous police cars around the high school.
Here is a story on the incident from Lancasteronline: http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/439762_-Dangerous--suspect-eludes-police-after-chase.html
From WGAL: http://www.wgal.com/news/28872062/detail.html/

From what I saw sitting up on the hill, which was peaceful for about the first 15 minutes after I got there.
So, as I wassitting up waiting for football practice to start tonight, and this kind of low flying helicopter flies over. Figured either PSP or Life Lion. Since I heard no sirens, ruled out Life Lion. Chopper made a couple of passes up and down river and what looked like across 30, around 4:15 or so. Shortly thereafter, our local police car comes up the hill, makes a right and goes down side hill.
Shortly thereafter a PSP car flies up hill, yes that's strange for our town and makes similar right and I start hearing sirens  --  PD sirens. chopper returns flying around the area around the high school and then a small fleet of police cars ...show up -- not from area. Susquehanna Regional PD comes up, we ask what's goingon, he tells us and we tell him, the timing isn't good as their is football, cheerleading and volleyball practice, which police were unaware of.Imediate lockdown for next 30 minutes or so.
Even after lockdown headed, there was still a heavy police presence in the west parking lot for about an hour.
Was told between 21 and 30 law enforcement agencies were involved in search.
