You can forget that happening here. Those people in Strasburg KNOW they have good jobs and can admit it. They have a good pay and good benefits. Though I'm sure it's not as good as our Columbia Boro employees. They are too selfish to make any concessions!!! They should ALL be fired before any tax increase is imposed on the poor residents of Columbia, then we could get a decrease in the tax:)
hello-the employees have NOT gotten ANY RAISE IN 3 YEARS !!!! YES THAT;S RIGHT - 3 YEARS - NO RAISE... However, MANAGEMENT HAS GIVEN THEMSELVES 3 RAISES IN THIS TIME PERIOD, YES THAT IS CORRECT - MAYBE YOU NEED TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK, mgmt needs to take a cut in pay - actually 3 ...............employees live in this boro and pay these outlandish taxes too. and guess what-mgmt-Norm wants to take ANOTHER BOND for $ 9.2 MILLION DOLLARS - just because the interest rates are low and that's on top of the $ 16.2 MILLION for the new sewer plant..attend this Thursdays mtg with Municipal Authority at 6:00 at boro hall.......
